“The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me.” Ayn Rand
You asked and I’m gonna answer. Thanks for not asking me too many personal questions!

Doing this video allowed me to reflect on the month of May.
A lot’s happened in the last 25 days since I started this blog: I’m drinking a ton more water; eating vegetables as a matter of course; and work out three times a week at least.
I’ve lost some inches and more than a few pounds, and gained a whole community of support in cyberspace. I’ve also gained a new appreciation for the place I live and the opportunities it presents.
And yes, I heart kettlebells.
Thanks for joining me on this journey! We’re exactly one month away from the drawing for a free kettlebell from Warrior Hardware!

For the person who asked you about a good beginning kettlebell DVD, there are many books and DVDs available on amazon.com (and even on youtube if you search). The first KB exercise everyone (for the most part) learns is the basic swing.
It is best if someone shows you how to do this in person in my opinion. It is important to use the correct technique for KB training so that you avoid injury and get the maximum benefit. Once you get a couple basic moves down, then my advice would be to look at sport specific exercises (if you like sports). Kettlebells are quite trendy for training these days and it is fairly simple to find the exercises your favorite athletes might be doing.
For example, my favorite is:

the long-cycle clean and jerk.
It’s good to see you using the internet to help you build a community to help you lose weight.
It’s also good to see someone using kettlebells to lose weight, i don’t think i’ve ever heard of that before, but i guess it makes sense. Kettlebell workouts are awesome exercise.
I’m always happy to help and support people who want to get healthy. Let me know if you ever need anything.
After all, watching other people work out makes me want to work out. People inspire people. That is why social media is so good.
To the person who asked about DVDs.
You don’t need exercise DVDs anymore. Exercise DVDs tend to be one of those things people buy with the intention of using to get fit, and then never really use more than once. (if you aren’t one of these people, then i salute you)
If you REALLY want to lose weight or get super fit, get a personal trainer.
Even if you only use them for a few sessions, and then take away what they’ve taught you and use it on your own. A personal trainer is definitely worth the money if you’re starting out.
If you can’t afford a personal trainer, you now have the next best thing. YOUTUBE.
There are a HUGE number of exercise videos on youtube. Remember to always check the comments. Sometimes people upload videos of not so great exercises and people will let you know this in the comments. You don’t need to waste your money on books and DVDs.
It’s always good to get a personal trainer to help you start though. That way you have direct feedback on whether you are doing in correctly.
Really? You’re 10 lbs down? WOO HOO! You go girl! Rah rah rah sis boom bah! Rah rah ree, kick em in the knee! Rah rah rass, kick em in the (you know how it ends… kick em in the other knee
Ayn Rand definitely didn’t let anyone force her into short books
jk . I’m always up for an Ayn Rand quote. Ayn Rand would have used Kettle Bells.
