Isagenix Pre-Cleanse, Day #1

All right, all right, all right! Shout out to Osaka, Winnepeg, Richmond, Vancouver, London, Birmingham, Munich, Leer, Cologne and Dublin!

Today was the first of eleven days on the Isagenix program. As you know, I started the cleanse as a way to kickstart my metabolism, shed a few extra pounds, and remove the toxins that are surely floating around my system.

I documented the first day for you all, right here:

At about 11pm, the lack-of-caffeine headache really kicked in. It was brutal. I also experienced some pain in my joints, right calf and glutes. Everything passed within an hour.

That night, I dreamt about chocolate cake (no big surprise there)! It was a pretty clear dream- my son and I were at the Embassy Suites Waikiki for some reason. Our friend needed to find an appropriate present for his aunt’s 60th birthday, and decided that a three-tier chocolate cake with an “over the hill” theme was it. My son got into the frosting (oops)! I didn’t eat any.

The next morning, I weighed 199.5 pounds. Wow! I can’t believe I made it below the 200 pound mark. Woo hoo! I haven’t been this “skinny” in over 2 years, he he he.

Have any of you had any experience with a cleanse? I know the “master” cleanse (aka lemonade cleanse) is very popular amongst those who participated in Landmark Education. I’d be curious to know what you’ve done, and also, your success or tripping points. Please leave me a comment! See you real soon!

  1. Hi, I recently finished a 45 day colon, blood, lymph and heavy metal detox and cleanse.

Was very refreshing and I do feel like I have a lot more energy now. It has been a gradual process obviously being a long 45 day cleanse.

However, after the first few days I did get a lot of detox reactions (headaches, bad skin, etc) but that all went very quickly for me to feel better.

Whoa! And I’m concerned about 11 days. Sheesh. What do you do for bad skin? I’ve already had a breakout in my elbow crease. I’m not looking forward to other skin issues, since I’m prone to them, as well as nasal allergies.

I unsuccessfully tried the lemonade diet about two years ago. I didn’t make it past the first day partly because I couldn’t stand the taste, and I couldn’t stand the hunger. At the end of the day, I was starving and ate the first thing I could find (a sandwhich).

I’ve been meaning to try another cleanser again, but I’m not sure if I can do it. I’m excited to hear how your experience goes. :)
