Sunday Stats Time!

Hey there!

It’s late Sunday night in Honolulu, Hawaii. Today marks 3 days since I finished my 11-days using the Isagenix shakes and cleanse for life products. That means I’ve been eating! And drinking decaf coffee.

On Friday, the day after my cleanse, I weighed in at 194.5, exactly 8 pounds less from the day I had started. Knowing that I could not sustain a weight I obtained while not eating, I had a bit of a freak out. What can I eat now?

That day, I decided to start my morning with a serving of oatmeal with some strawberries. Before my kettlebell training, I had a half of an Isagenix shake, since I wasn’t exactly sure what was in the fridge. When I was done, can you say I was hungry? That night, my family had take out from Teddy’s Bigger Burger. That wasn’t going to work. So, I had a salad.

Later that evening, I had my first coffee in 12 days– a medium iced decaf latte with nonfat milk. That night, I was up until 5 in the morning. I guess caffeine is going to affect me differently now!

Since then, I’m back to eating more regularly. I’m definitely eating smaller portions than before, as well as watching my carbs. I’m drinking my vitamins every day, and still taking the Isagenix accelerator in the morning. I may implement a “cleanse day” every so often, since I felt so energized on the last two days of my cleanse.

Since starting this blog 14 weeks ago, I have  lost a total of 15 1/2 pounds. I’ve lost almost 4 inches in my waistline. It’s exciting that my pants are falling off! (Withold your jokes : ) Here’s what that looks like:

As you can see, I have almost 40 pounds to go to reach my goal for my 36th birthday. At this point, I don’t think I’m going to make it in 12 weeks, but I’m going to keep at it! Even if I only lose 15 more pounds- that will be a HUGE difference (pun intended).

Good job on your progress so far.

The one comment in your blog that I picked up on was “since I wasn’t exactly sure what was in the fridge. ”

For me, the key is to always have something available in the fridge that I can eat that keeps me on plan. The second that I have to “think” about what I are going to eat is when I get it trouble.

    Stay Strong.
