My latest challenges are not procrastinating with school work and working out more often.

This semester started about three weeks ago and I already have a ton of readings, a quiz and a paper due. How many of these assignments have I completed? ZERO. :(
I can easily say I just haven't had time, or my other responsibities are getting in the way. But the truth is most of those are just excuses. In the last three weeks I've had time to go see Avatar (which was 2 1/2 hours!), go out to dinner, host a football party, spend time with my loved ones, etc, etc. It's a matter of prioritizing, and I'm not putting school on the priority list.

Working out. Although I've been going to the gym, I haven't been going as often as I desire. I like how I feel after I work out, but the challenge is getting the gym clothes on and getting my butt in the gym. Part of it is I often feel overwhelmed by all the things I have to get done, such as school work, work work, family time, etc, etc. That I end up feeling so overwhelmed that I end up thinking there's just no time for the gym. Excuses. Excuses.

Because of these current challenges, I'm trying to better manage my time. I'm creating a grid with all the things I need to do and scheduling them on the grid. I'll let you know how it's going and as always thanks for sharing your struggles with us! Xoxo
